This alone is a testiment to how rugged and capable these shoes are.

The Beasts cannot be compared to the Cascadia. The Beast is a road shoe. The Cascadia is a hiking.trail shoe. Its like putting all terrain tires on your Porsche and complaining about the ride.
I love the Cascadias for what they are: rugged, grippy, capable, protective. I own the Cascadia 16’s and they are much heavier than the 18’s…..so that’s an improvement.

Tried the Cascadia because I needed to keep my feet drier. Basically they suck. I ended up using them for gardening shoes. Still love the Beast. Make Cascadia more like the Beast.
