The Via FWD has been a really good option for me right now. The higher stack helps absorb a lot of the ground issues I encounter while the cushion babies my feet without a marshmellow squish that causes me hip discomfort like a NB 1080v14 does.
Having a slightly wide foot with high arches I find the lockdown in this shoe to be just fine. It did take some initial adjustments but now they are set. This shoe and the Brooks Ghost Max are in my daily rotation for my morning stroll.
